The Bluetooth gateway operates by scanning for Bluetooth devices. Once a device is found, the gateway caches the data structures of the device’s characteristics and services. When the gateway processes an HTTP request for the data structure, it utilizes the cached data to respond. However, if there is a request for real-time data from the Bluetooth device, the gateway initiates a connection with the device and fetches the data immediately.
