The innovative feature of the potentiometric level sensor PLP70 is its unparalleled low minimum conductivity required for continuous level measurement (greater than 5 microsiemens/cm), working fine even with media like distilled water. The very accurate and reliable measurement results make it easy to optimize processes, such as the precise monitoring of the level in process tanks and storage tanks.

"The PLP70 can be particularly beneficial in applications with high variety or frequent media changes. Thanks to its media-independent measuring principle, the sensor offers the highest accuracy and repeatability even in the most demanding applications," says product manager Julian Budde. Examples of challenging applications include processes with difficult-to-measure pasty, adhering, or foaming media with low conductivity. The PLP70, with its short response time of less than 100 milliseconds, is especially suitable for highly dynamic processes with rapid changes in level in filling systems.
